Women in View 2010 is an ongoing initiative by a coalition of independent artists and professionals alarmed at glaring gender inequities in film and media.
Join us for a 3 day symposium on the art, technology, business and politics of women in media.

Despite remarkable achievements in virtually every field they’ve tackled, women are still seriously under-represented both above and below-the-line in the media industry. As long as this is true, they will also be under-represented – and mis-represented – on screen. We are bringing together artists, industry leaders and policy-makers in an intensive and interactive forum that will map the equity of women in media today, and propose solutions and strategies for the future.
