Biography

Clare Hodge is an integrated producer who combines an expertise in project financing with the drive to create and manage the best content and experiences in interactive, film and television.

In the interactive sphere, Clare acted as Studio Producer at Genius Factor Games, managing multiple mobile and online games and iPhone apps. She was Content Manager of the award-winning “Ice Pilots NWT” website, Digital Content Strategist with British Columbia Film and, as Creative Manager of SuperU.ca, an online video venue affiliated with Super Channel from its inception, produced the transmedia program “Super U Winners Showcase” for broadcast.

In film and television, Clare produced the feature film Love and Other Dilemmas (2008, Maple Pictures). Her producer credits also include the documentary Water Witch (2001 WTN/SCN) and the multi-award-winning short drama Room (2001 CBC). She acted as Associate Producer on the CTV/Comedy Network series Alice, I Think.

Her business experience includes providing consultation on tax credits and financing applications to more than 20 clients with projects of all sizes and genres. She has held the positions of Operations Manager of Women In Film & Video Vancouver, Business Analyst at British Columbia Film in the Film & Television Production program and the Film & Television Tax Credit Program, assessing over 250 tax credit applications during her tenure.

At Women in View, Clare is conducting research survey and analysis of training/mentorship models/programs for mid-to senior level women working in media.
